There’s a fantastic new feature on the Strawberry Center’s webpage! In the lower right corner of the website, you’ll see and icon for IPM Images (Fig. 1).

Click there and it will open to IPM Images.org showing the specific search results on the topic of “strawberry”. IPM Images hosts millions of images about agriculture, forestry, insects, diseases, plants, etc. Among these millions of images are currently over 1,000 images on subjects related to strawberries. While the images show strawberry production around the world, most are from the U.S. and many are from California. About half of the images were taken by me (G. Holmes) and I will be adding many more images in the near future.
IPM Images is one of the five core websites that deliver the Bugwood Image Database System (Bugwood Images). Bugwood Images hosts thousands of contributor-submitted images that support education, outreach, and research across agriculture, forestry, pest management, and invasive species.

All images in Bugwood Images are from contributors (photographers) who retain all rights to their photos. The Image Use policy indicates that educational and personal use is free. Commercial use is up to the photographer, who retains the right to allow or deny use, or require a fee. Bugwood offers an automated image request system with usage tracking. Proper citation is required for all image use, and it is provided for each image in the database.
The Strawberry Center frequently adds images to this database, so if you don’t find what you’re looking for, check back later or consider using it as a resource for other projects.
